Out with the old, in with the new

Picture: Pinterest- how goals is this?! (starstruck eyes)

As it's the beginning of a new year what better way to start it than to have a clear out.
We have recently sorted out our wardrobe and got rid of a lot of clothes that we wouldn't wear anymore or just haven't worn in a while. We luckily have the same style so are able share clothes.

We find ourselves buying new clothes and forgetting about the other clothes we already have hanging in our wardrobe (we can't be the only ones who do this?!). Before the sort out, our wardrobe was so cluttered and we hardly had any space to search through our clothes, it's a daily struggle finding an outfit to wear but this was made harder by our cluttered wardrobe. Since having the clear out our wardrobe has a lot more space to find clothes (& more room to buy new clothes.. joking) and we can actually see what items we own now.

Now that we have sorted our wardrobe out, this should make it easier finding & putting outfits together (which means more outfit posts yay).

Decluttered wardrobe- We can find items so much easier now

Coats & jackets are easier to find now
Below are some some questions you should ask yourself while doing your wardrobe clear out.

1. Have I worn this item in the last year?

2. If I were shopping right now, would I buy this item?

3. Do I have a similar item to this already?

4. Does this still fit me?

5. Is the only thing that's keeping me from disposing of this item, is that I don't want to waste money?

6. Am I keeping this item to wear to a future event (make sure your definitely going to wear it & you have an event planned suitable for the item. Make sure it's not another excuse to keep it for the sake of it)

We hope these questions help you when sorting your wardrobe out. We always feel so much better and positive after having a clear out.

Have you sorted your wardrobe out for the new year or are you planning on doing this? Let us know in the comment box.
